Frequently asked questions

Ownership, delivery, export rules and what managed hosting includes.

Do I really own the hardware?

Yes. When you buy, you get an invoice and title for a specific, serial-numbered machine. Management is a separate service you can cancel without giving up the machine.

Do I get root access to my machine?

You own it and have full root access. We provide rack space, power, network, monitoring and remote hands.

Is the hardware shared with anyone?

No. Exclusive bare metal: your hardware is never shared, and you get full root access.

How do pre-orders and payment work?

Place a pre-order. We confirm availability and send an invoice. Nothing is charged online.

Where is my hardware hosted?

In Asia or the US, racked and managed by us. You can ask us to ship it to you at any time.

What does management cost?

$99 per unit per month, on top of the one-time hardware price. Four DGX Sparks cost $396 per month to manage.

What does managed hosting include?

Power within the agreed envelope, cooling, a shared 1 Gbps port with 2 TB outbound a month, private remote access, monitoring, reboots, one approved reimage and 15 minutes of remote hands a month, with a four-business-hour response target.

What isn't included?

Application uptime guarantees, model tuning and backups. Monitoring does not protect your data; back it up or agree a backup service separately.

Can you ship my machine to me?

Yes, whenever you ask. Worldwide delivery, subject to export and customs rules: we check the destination and the parties involved before anything ships, and some destinations or recipients may need a licence or can't be served.

What export and customs rules apply?

Advanced computing hardware can fall under export controls, such as the US Export Administration Regulations, and the rules change often. Owning a machine doesn't override them. We check at order time and again before dispatch. Import duties and VAT are paid by the importer unless your invoice says otherwise.

How large a model can a DGX Spark run?

Roughly: one unit runs ~70B models comfortably and up to ~200B at FP4; two linked units reach the ~405B class; four reach ~700B. These figures follow NVIDIA's published numbers and are approximate: they depend on quantization and context length.

What storage do the Ryzen 9 9950X builds have?

Each build boots from a 500 GB NVMe SSD. You can add a 1 TB SATA SSD ($150), a 2 TB SATA SSD ($250) or a 4 TB HDD ($300), paid once with the hardware. Tell us what you need in your pre-order.

Can I order more than four DGX Sparks?

Yes. Volume pricing is available for larger configurations: tell us what you need and we'll quote it.

Can I rent instead of buying?

Not yet. Rentals are coming later; for now, hardware is sold on pre-order.

Can I sell my hardware back?

A buyback programme is coming later. Offers will depend on the market and the machine's age and condition; there will be no guaranteed buyback price.
